Air Hockey Table Troubleshooting Guide
Choose the symptom to receive a safe diagnostic path. The tool starts with common external causes, stops at electrical danger signs and never treats an affiliate part as a substitute for verified compatibility.
Start with the puck, surface and intake
- Unplug the table, then clean and dry the puck and playing surface.
- Inspect the blower intake for externally visible dust or obstruction.
- Follow the manufacturer method for clearing perforations; never coat the surface with silicone or wax.
This diagnostic cannot confirm an electrical or motor failure. Use the product manual and stop when a step requires opening powered components.

The cause may be the puck, surface, perforations, intake, cabinet level or blower. Clean and dry the puck and field, inspect externally accessible intake areas, confirm the cabinet is level and follow the manual for hole cleaning. Do not apply wax, silicone or furniture polish as a universal fix.
Why does the blower not start?
Unplug immediately for heat, sparks, a damaged cord or electrical odor. Otherwise confirm that the outlet works and follow only documented reset or fuse procedures. This diagnostic cannot confirm an internal electrical or motor failure.
Why are only some areas slow?
Localized dead zones point first toward blocked holes, moisture, level or a distorted field. A whole-table motor replacement is not a responsible first recommendation.
Can you replace a blower?
Sometimes, but match voltage, connector, mounting pattern, airflow design and manufacturer part information. A generic motor that looks similar is not automatically compatible.
